Carwow has one Drag Race between the brand new Golf R Mk8 and its predecessor, the Golf R Mk7.5 (Facelift) organized. And based on the official specs, you might think it will be a close race. The latest model finally does 320 PS & 420 NM and the MK7 is with 310 PS & 400 NM not really weaker. In addition, the new one is a few kilograms again heavier become. For those who are not so familiar: The MK7.5 is the vehicle in white and the MK8 is the blue one.
2022 Golf R with 2,0-liter turbo engine
In some videos, we've already seen that the 2022 Golf R almost every other car with a 2,0-liter turbocharged engine leaves standing.
