Video: Akrapovic sports exhaust on the 2022 VW Golf R (MK8)

One is always that First! And this time it's the team from Akrapovic. They have a first tuning for the brand new 2021 VW Golf R (MK8) Sports exhaust system at the beginning. And why are you so fast? Because Volkswagen with Akrapovic cooperates and the titanium flap exhaust system ex works as Option offers. The brand new Golf R promises to be the coolest hot hatch in its class. Not necessarily because of the size of the Roof wing, but because of features like that Drift mode and just that optional Akrapovic plant. And it shows what it can do in the following video. The quality and the sound are excellent as we find. But VW also calculates stately for the option € 3.700 additional. Sports exhaust systems in Europe have become quite expensive lately, but a Milltek or Supersprint system will still be available for half of the time.
