Most pickups are simply designed for the transport of goods and should be practical. And that basically also applies to the 2021 Syclone®. Just as a super truck in the spirit of the legendary 1st generation. And the recently announced GMC Syclone Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) as a limited edition V8 with all-wheel drive and 750 PS is now apparently available for order. The performance is provided by a 5,3 liter V8 (813 NM torque) which is based on an L83 aluminum block. With countless special features such as a forged 1538MV crankshaft made of steel, forged aluminum pistons, modified L83 cylinder heads, the in-house SVE compressor system in OEM quality with 33% larger belt drive, high and low pressure fuel system with high-performance injectors, air-water Charge air cooler system and a stainless steel exhaust system with high-flow catalysts, the power is increased to the 750 hp mentioned.

Update: 02.2021 - now it is finished!

The basis for the conversion is the 2021 GMC Canyon as an Extended Cab / Short Bed, which can be ordered in any factory color. SVE claims the super truck is not a new idea, but the Syclone® version could easily turn out to be the fastest medium-sized, limited-edition pickup in the world. And the tuner not only installed the V8, but charged it, plugged the most powerful and fastest-switching gear on the market and installed permanent AWD all-wheel drive. And since the V8 L83 engine weighs almost the same as the factory V6, nothing changes in the good weight distribution. Optionally, you can also order a completely new leather interior in two different versions with Cocoa Dune seats in BiColor look with red and white seams or with seams in black and white.

The seats have the Syclone® V8 Supercharged logo on the front headrests in red and there are also a few visual changes. The Syclone®, which is limited to 100 vehicles, comes with sports suspension, stainless steel sports exhaust system with right / left tailpipes, matt black 20 inch rims with 5 or 6 spokes and also an attachment for the bonnet, modified aprons and newly painted details in the vehicle color. Update

News from 19.02.2021

Now it is 2021 GMC Syclone from SVE with 750 hp actually a reality. For the 2021 model year, the New Jersey-based tuner Specialty Vehicle Engineering neither a V6 nor the Duramax diesel was installed, instead there was the L83 5,3 liter V8. Equipped with some forged components, the SVE version delivers a hefty 750 hp on the crankshaft. They are exact 757 PS and 899 Nm torque put to the test. The engine is coupled to a Eight-speed automatic (8L90E), which either transfers the power to the rear wheels or transfers it to all four wheels. The starting price of 79.995 US Dollars without base vehicle is however an announcement. But then you have one of only 50 pc limited copies.

Maybe there will be an update with information and pictures soon. If this is the case, we will of course also put this online and inform you about it.
