Did you know that the Lexus GS series has been around since 1991? It was introduced as a vehicle of the upper middle class in autumn 1991 first in Japan, in the spring 1993 then came the first models in the US and to us to Europe. Back then, as an opponent of the BMW E34 or the Mercedes W124 was the much more modern designed GS, however, in all respects no chance and the number of sold copies remained, at least in Europe, behind the expectations of Lexus back. Currently, the GS is positioned in the meanwhile fourth generation between the Lexus series IS and LS and unfortunately not really often represented as his ancestor. And although the GRL1 / GWL1 series actually brings everything that is needed. From extremely luxurious equipment to high-tech security systems everything is there and also the drive is rich from 209 PS in the GS 250 up to the 477 PS strong GS F. And in terms of appearance, the GS is in my opinion a BMW F10 or Mercedes W212 in nothing and especially as a modified variant, you can be sure to have an extremely elegant and quite rare vehicle.
This is exactly what the American rim label Vossen Wheels presented to us a few days ago on its Facebook timeline on which they posted a white Lexus GS with a 20 inch VFS-1 wheelset. The rims are painted in simple silver and sunk into the wheel arch with millimeter precision thanks to an extreme lowering. So far, we have no information about the lowering, but if you look at the combination you can certainly assume that an Airride air suspension is installed. At the front there was a subtle spoiler lip for the bumper and a small rear spoiler sits on the trunk lid. In Japan and the USA, optional wind deflectors on the side windows are very popular and the Lexus also carries four of them. More changes are not immediately apparent, but if we receive more information we will of course notify you immediately.
