Ford Ranger Raptor as "Very Gay Raptor" in the CSD in Cologne

23 years after a rainbow Ford Ka pick-up was built, the cult car has a big brother. The "Very Gay Raptor", a Ford Ranger Raptor in originally Performance Blue, was created in response to a discriminatory comment on social media. One user described the color performance blue as “very gay”. The car manufacturer responded spontaneously with an animation in which a blue Ford Ranger Raptor was painted in gold dust and rainbow colors, making its position on discriminatory language very clear. For Christopher Street Day in Cologne, Ford goes one step further and has now wrapped a real Ford Ranger Raptor into a "Very Gay Raptor". This vehicle will be on the road as a photo motif in Cologne city center as part of ColognePride 2021 from Thursday, August 26th to Saturday, August 28th. He will then be part of the traditional parade on Sunday.

Alphafoil, a provider of special foils, wrapped the vehicle with around 60 square meters of foil in the unique rainbow and gold dust design in 30 working hours. The Cologne-based automobile manufacturer Ford is a fixture in Cologne's Christopher Street Day.
