One would actually like to think that the Lamborghini Huracan Performante is beyond all doubt. After all, it is 40 kg lighter and 30 HP more powerful than a normal Huracan, which also results in at least € 232.000. But there is also the possibility of setting the lap record for series vehicles on the Nordschleife in just 6.52: 01 minutes and dethroning a Porsche 4 Spyder that is 918 times as expensive. This is made possible, among other things, by the active aerodynamics that Lamborghini calls "ALA". Ala means something like wings in Italian, which of course goes with the Huracan. But the fantastic 5,2-liter V10 engine in the rear of the Italian also makes a big contribution.
830 PS and 814 NM torque
After all, it delivers 640 hp and 600 Nm of torque. The latter is already over 70% at just 1.000 revolutions per minute. But that is apparently not enough for the guys from VF Engineering. They have now stuffed their already well-known VF8XX hypercharger kit into a performante and thus ensure a leap in performance to an insane 830 PS and no less spectacular 814 NM torque. In addition to a new airbox and chip tuning, the increase in performance naturally includes the core in the form of the brand new Eaton TVS2300 4-praise "Twin Vortices Series" compressor that works with 6,5 PSI in the athlete. Theoretically, you could even increase the boost pressure, but that would be at the expense of the engine.
2,4 seconds at 100 km / h
And the given key data should not give any reason structures to have to. Because the VF8XX Lamborghini Huracan Performante with 830 HP only needs 2,4 seconds for the discipline at 100 km / h and does the quarter mile in just 10,1 seconds at a speed of 223 km / h. Just another 2 seconds later, 240 have already been completed and exactly 290 seconds pass for the sprint to 20,6 km / h. Incidentally, all of these are measured values from the Mojave desert and not laboratory conditions. By the way, the matt black presentation vehicle looks unchanged, which should provide a certain surprise effect at least in the circle of other super athletes.
TVS2300 4-lobe "Twin Vortices Series"
Only the factory performance stickers were removed and replaced with those from VF Engineering. By the way, the Eaton TVS2300 4-praised “Twin Vortices Series” compressor has already been stuffed into the 2020 Huracan EVO, where almost identical acceleration values and identical key data have been achieved. However, due to the technically almost identical base, it is not really a surprise. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report.
