The British magazine AutoCar is of the opinion that the new Ford Focus with over 316PS and a 2,3 liter Eco-Boost four-cylinder engine comes on the market. The new RS is also said to have all-wheel drive, instead of going into the corner with the front-wheel drive as before. We were able to find out a few dates. We list these below.
- 2,3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost
- more than 316 PS
- Four-wheel drive with Dynamic Torque Vectoring system
- 2 electronically controlled clutches on each side of the rear drive unit
- more than 1G side centrifugal forces
- Twin-scroll turbocharger
- enlarged intercooler
- large air inlet
