Video: About 316PS in the new Ford Focus RS 2016

Reading time <1 Min.

The British magazine AutoCar is of the opinion that the new Ford Focus with over 316PS and a 2,3 liter Eco-Boost four-cylinder engine comes on the market. The new RS is also said to have all-wheel drive, instead of going into the corner with the front-wheel drive as before. We were able to find out a few dates. We list these below.

  • 2,3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost
  • more than 316 PS
  • Four-wheel drive with Dynamic Torque Vectoring system
  • 2 electronically controlled clutches on each side of the rear drive unit
  • more than 1G side centrifugal forces
  • Twin-scroll turbocharger
  • enlarged intercooler
  • large air inlet

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
