Video: Dragrace - 700PS Ford GT vs. 600PS Toyota Supra Turbo

Reading time 2 Min.

Have two days ago we showed that 1.000 hp in the Toyota Supra are only of any use if they are adequately brought onto the road. The lack of all-wheel drive makes that sometimes impossible so that drag races in particular over a quarter mile are almost impossible to manage sensibly. And today we would like to show you another duel in which a Toyota Supra is involved again. This time, however, the performance of approx. 600 PS is significantly lower and the chance that this is properly converted into propulsion increases a little. A PHR 6266 turbo kit and a sports exhaust system were installed. The interior of the engine has not been revised to ensure that it is in the standard condition. The Supra is fueled with E85 fuel and is driven on normal road tires. And the Ford GT has also received a lot of modifications to increase its performance. A compressor kit was installed here that enables the GT to send over 700 PS to the new ADV.1 Wheels alloy wheels. Let yourself be surprised who wins the duel and whether this time the performance comes out on the road as it should! More details on tuning may follow in the next few days. Until then you can subscribe to the article and we will inform you as soon as it receives an update.

These are the changes to the Ford GT and the Toyota Supra:

  • Ford GT:
    - 4.0L Whipple
    - ADV1 Wheels alloy wheels
    - pulleys

  • Toyota Supra:
    - PHR 6266 Turbo kit
    - E85
    - Brian crower cams
    - blitz only Spec exhaust sports exhaust system
    - road tires
    - Built auto trans
    - engine unchanged
    - 570PS on the bike at 28psi
