Video: Hennessey GT500 Venom 1000 - Shelby Mustang!

In September 2019, the American tuner Hennessey performance announced up to 1.200 hp in the Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang want to stuff. And now you have come a little closer to the goal and have a video on the so-called Venom 1000 a 2020 Shelby Ford Mustang GT500 with a first performance upgrade shown on the dyno test bench. With E85 fuel, the vehicle reached 833 HP and 902 NM "on the wheel", which should correspond to approximately an engine output of 1.013 HP and 1.152 NM torque. The increase in performance was achieved by means of a modified upper pulley, there were new injection nozzles and the adjustment to the aforementioned E85 fuel.

In addition, the GT500 is given special Hennessey & Venom 1000 emblems and a numbered badge on the dashboard and the engine announces the difference to the series GT500. By the way: if you are traveling with normal fuel, the GT500 still achieves an impressive 900 hp. We are excited to see whether development will continue and Hennessey will actually lift the Shelby GT500 to the announced 1200 horsepower.
