The Villain - 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback with 450 PS

"The Villain"Means something like"The rogue"And describes this extraordinary 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback from the tuner and restaurateur"Classic Recreations“From Yukon in Oklahoma (USA). And when you hear the Mustang in the video, you immediately believe that he could conquer the world as a villain. And the superhero behind that Restomod project Ford Mustang from the late sixties is again Jason angel and his team from CR Supercars. Jason and his crew built the Mustang Fastback in just 3 weeks and the end product is just amazing. Other companies sometimes need several years to complete such a complex process. But then they did not specialize in the restoration and conversion of such vehicles. But that is exactly the case with Classic Recreations!

Mustang was created in 2014

For years, the company has focused on building individual high-performance vehicles that are ALWAYS made to customer specifications. But the Mustang is a highlight even for CR. Because usually tiles at least four months of working time and a good 2.500 working hours "per employee" in such a vehicle, which is at least an attempt to justify the high prices in the range of $ 180-200.000 per vehicle. But, as already mentioned, this copy was created in just 3 weeks without having to compromise on quality or equipment. The "The Villain 1968 Ford Mustang"With the unmistakable body was completely modernized and then in the color"Bad guy orange“Painted with the typical black stripes on the hood.

And, as always, the interior is individually designed and in no way exaggerated. Here, for example, high-quality Procar Evolution seats with 5-point Camlock seat belts were installed. The dashboard, on the other hand, almost corresponds to the series but has Villain custom instruments, a JVC radio and even a full air conditioning system is installed. And as always, the absolute highlight is under the long bonnet. A modern V8 works here (5.0 liter DOHC Coyote 4V Crate) made of full aluminum from Ford Racing with a cubic capacity of 302 cubic inches and a 302 boss air intake. It delivers approx. 450 hp and 540 NM torque and is coupled to a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and a 9 inch Strange Engineering rear axle. Classic Recreations once again relies on the provider for the chassis Detroit Speed Inc. who installed a DSE subframe with fully adjustable coilover suspension for optimal road holding.

And of course there was also a brake system adapted to the performance for the classic. Here, too, for a number of years the company has been committed to a manufacturer who in the case of CR "Wilwood" is called. The tuner uses a 6-piston system with massive perforated and slotted 14-inch brake discs "all around“And hides the braking system behind 18-inch Forgeline forged wheels with BF Goodrich g-Force Rival slippers. Countless other components such as the state-of-the-art headlights with LED daytime running lights, the extremely clean body without trim strips, etc., the stainless steel steering column with the small Sparco sports steering wheel in the interior and the perfectly welded roll cage at the rear round off the Mustang impressively.
