Tuner Karl Geiger (GeigerCars) has set up a fantastic Chevrolet Corvette C2 convertible with almost 800 PS. The white body got blue racing stripes in the style of the Grand Sport variant and the conversion of the front is particularly complex. Geiger installed a flip front with an integrated air filter and there were fixed front lights. The original pop-up headlights are history. The heart of the conversion is the huge 9,1 liter (555 cui) Big Block V8 with Holley Dominator carburetor, which has an electronic MSD ignition system and a special water cooler. In combination with other details such as a sidepipe exhaust system including manifold, the unit sends a huge 790 PS & 787 Nm maximum torque to the black 19-inch OEM rims of the Corvette C6 ZR1. They are fitted with 285/35 ZR19 Michelin tires and the rims have Stingray hub caps.

And by the way, that thing is still there handgeschalten! A six-speed gearbox from Richmond does the job in the Vette. So that the performance is consistently and species-appropriate on the road, there was a completely new chassis that was specially designed for high-performance applications. Individual stabilizers, wishbones and thrust struts are just as much a part of it as leaf springs made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. And of course there was also a huge brake system to be able to catch the C2 again at any time. The red sports brake system comes with a hydraulic brake cylinder and brake booster and has 6 pistons with 380 millimeter discs at the front and a 4 piston system with 340 discs at the rear. And the interior has also changed.

Bucket seats with leather in black

Geiger installed specially made bucket seats with black leather and the leather steering wheel is also new. It is smaller and has three thick double struts in the style of the original steering wheel. We do not currently have any more details about the C2. If we receive timely information on further changes not mentioned before, there will of course be an update for this report.
