VIP tuning (also called Bippu tuning in Japan) is a tuning type, which from the JDM scene and modifying expensive, rear-wheel drive luxury sedans. These are lowered, widened and tuned with larger rims, which are often chrome-plated. In addition, of course, the so-called Camber-Tuning, which describes the change in the fall of the wheels, and from the JDM scene is indispensable, not missing. However, VIP cars have often been associated with the yakuza in past times, damaging the image. Today, however, it is a recognized and appreciated tune-up among tuning enthusiasts, which is why it's no longer just rear-wheel drive luxury sedans like Toyota Aristo, Nissan Cedric, Nissan Gloria or Toyota Crown Athlete, but also minivans or even tiny Kei cars with 3,39m exterior lengths, these VIP modifications receive.

Even the majestic Toyota Century, a type of Japanese Rolls-Royce with a V12 engine, which is extremely rare and normally only in collector's hands, was already "abused" to use it as a VIP tuning vehicle and fuel it up vigorously. There is also a VIP tuning scene in the United States focusing on sister models of JDM luxury sedans. Lexus LS, Infiniti Q45 or Acura RLX are then tuned in the same way as their counterparts in Japan. In contrast to the usual JDM tuning, the VIP tuning does not use bright colors with manga-style décor, but the tuned vehicles are usually kept in black, gray, white or silver. This is again based on the yakuza style, which was not allowed to have any striking colors, in order to be able to use the cars ideally as an escape vehicle.

There are no shrill colors and foils
