Volvo S60 Project "Interstellar Wanderer" with Bodykit & Roof-Scoop!

We weren't sure at first either, but this is really a real one Body kit and a real vehicle, and no rendering! It's hard to believe what modifications a harmless and innocent looking white man Volvo S60 received in China! You'd think that rendering Rembrandt Khyzyl Saleem had his fingers in the game, right? Prior Design zusammen mit JP Performance unleashed the next project, but this extraordinary S60 is a project of Tuning planet from China. Far from all clichés, a Volvo sedan has been so heavily modified that it could be presented at any tuning show, and probably every visitor rubs their eyes in amazement at what they are seeing. Now we're going to introduce you to the ultra-cool vehicle!

Almost no component remains unchanged!

The bodykit, which was created with the help of a 3D printer, overshadows everything that has been seen in the way of modifications to a Volvo so far. With fats Trim on the front, a shrill look with yellow and orange Strip at the broads side skirts, respectively on Racing front spoiler made of carbon, the Swede shows that he doesn't have to hide from any competition. The is particularly extremely designed Carbon rear wing, which was held in the WTCR style, and consists of several parts. It cannot be overlooked and, in our opinion, fits this extreme project like the proverbial fist on the eye.

Also the Carbon diffuser in XXL format, which also has orange accents, and four bold ones exhaust pipes houses, which are arranged symmetrically, causes quite a stir. But the most extraordinary thing about the vehicle is certainly that sideblades, which were installed in place of the rear doors, and their appearance is a bit reminiscent of the legendary blades of the Audi R8, without having a contrasting color. The car looks like it's been packed into a widebody cocoon, and the Air scoop on the roof, too Roof Scoop called, provides a real racing feeling. Unfortunately, we do not know whether the hood will also work or whether it is only used for optics. It is also worth mentioning that the 20 inch tires is invisible there turbofans, which are used for brake ventilation and optics, deny the view of the rims.

Of course, there are also minor changes that are visually less important than the blackened one front Grill, the Exterior mirror caps made of carbon, or the black one Volvo lettering on the hood. the Hood also has an air scoop and a pronounced one Power Dome, creating a reptile look that is normally only known from a Dodge Viper. Join in air intakes next to the headlights, which complete the touring car style.

The interior is sporty!

Cyan blue is the color that you find at Volvo and its sister brand Lynk & Co. preferred when it comes to sporty vehicles. The interior of this copy is no exception, because blue Leather and carbon dominate in the S60. Racing seats with blue Harness belts complete the racing interior. Of course, a real racing car also includes one Roll cage, and this was installed behind the front seats, which is why the rear seat flew out of the vehicle.

The cage is also painted in cyan blue to blend in with the interior.

The car's engine is a 2-liter turbo gasoline engine with a plug-in hybrid drive that generates at least 390 hp system output and a tight 640 Newton meters of maximum torque. The power is transmitted to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the specified purely electric range is around 50 km. In terms of performance, this Volvo can easily keep up with sporty BBA models, but the European version of this vehicle is electronically limited to 180 km / h. We don't know if it is also the case in China that Volvo is restricting models to such an extent as to ensure maximum safety and environmental friendliness. However, it would make much more sense there than in Germany, as there are strict speed limits in the Middle Kingdom.

Our Conclusion to the extreme Volvo S60:

You never stop learning! We are speechless in the face of such an extreme conversion and pay our respects to the tuner! There's no other Volvo like this, and we praise it!
