He was the highlight of Ingolstadt in the year 2015. The Audi R8 4S! The second generation of the R8 mid-engined sports car was unveiled at 2 years ago at the Geneva Motor Show and has been available to 2015 since the summer. In the same year, the R8 with the Golden Steering Wheel in the class Sportcars excellent. Reason enough for tuners like Prior Design, ABT or Vorsteiner to develop an aerodynamic package for athletes. While ABT & Prior Design tended to take the conspicuous route, Vorsteiner came up with his VRS Aero-kit Decided to work hand in hand on the R8. The body kit we have ever been at the extreme R8 with Accuair Airride suspension from the tuner Ground car house seen and now Vorsteiner has also published a few pictures of a R8 with the aerodynamic parts.
The VRS Carbon Aero program consists of a subtle front spoiler for the lower part of the bumper, a rather massive rear diffuser and a fixed rear spoiler. As already mentioned, all parts are made of ultra-light carbon and underline the elegant silhouette perfectly. The current vehicle also got a set of V-FF 105 alloy wheels in 20 inches, which of course also come from the Vorsteiner range. A lowering system, unknown to us, ensures that the wheelset sits optimally in the wheel arch and the R8 still remains drivable at the same time. The very successful appearance is rounded off by darkened side markings at the front and back.
There isn't much more to say about the car, so we'll leave it with the pictures for the time being. If we get more information, especially about a possible increase in performance or a sports exhaust system, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
