We recently got one Ford F-150 including powerful lowering and Vossen HF6-3 rims demonstrated that a pickup does not always need studded tires and a lift kit. Of course, this way of tuning on a classic off-roader impairs the actual purpose, but what can you do not all for a successful look !? And the owner of this brand new fourth generation Chevrolet Silverado (is on the T1XX platform from GM and is technically identical to the GMC Sierra) has a very similar mindset. Because here too, a considerable lowering and a high-quality forged wheel set ensure that the typical area of application changes from the gravel path to the asphalt. And the Silverado even got an extensive body kit on top. Here someone probably wanted to turn a pickup into a sports car. And in a way that was also possible.
Hybrid Forged HF6-3 alloy wheels
Let's start with the wheelset. As with the F-150 mentioned above, the choice fell on high-quality Hybrid Forged HF6-3 alloy wheels from the shelf of the American manufacturer Vossen Wheels (Miami / Florida). The aluminum wheel is available in different sizes and for the Silverado it had to be the largest variant in 24 inches. More precisely, all four wheel arches are filled with 24 x 10 inch copies in glossy black. And for the new wheelset to sit perfectly in the wheel arch, a lowering was also required. Unfortunately, that's exactly what we're at the moment no Information before. A lowering would only be possible using adjustable sports springs, but a completely new chassis could also be installed. Even an Airride air suspension would be conceivable, but it would have been shown with high probability in the video embedded below. What has been shown is another wheel set from Vossen Wheels in gold on the loading surface. It is not known whether this is also intended for the Silverado or for another vehicle.
Air Design Global body kit all around
The key data for the body kit are known for this. This comes from Air Design Global from Mexico. It gives the large pickup a power dome for the bonnet and a three-part attachment for the front apron including the front spoiler. There is also a small spoiler for the roof and a filigree spoiler lip can also be seen on the tailgate. With large side skirts, a special attachment for the tailgate and a very successful rear apron, the changes to the body are impressively rounded off. We really like the overall result and if there is now a modified V8 from Lingenfelter or Hennessey under the hood, the result would probably be the egg-laying wool milk sow. If we receive timely information about further changes to the snow-white Silverado, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
