Hard to believe, but this one Audi Avant RS6 the current generation C8 in the chic Tango Red actually gets up 23 inch large alloy wheels. And the macabre thing, the wheelset works under no circumstances too big or even ostentatiously exaggerated. A 23 inch rim has been a regular feature on various over the past few years SUVs or Street trucks been seen. In this vehicle class, the 23-inch dimension is slowly but surely becoming a certain standard. And also an inch taller is not necessarily uncommon. On a "normal" family station wagon like the Audi RS6, the current E-Class or the 5-series BMW, however, the limit was 22 inches at the latest. 21-inch models were actually more common. But that is changing now with the current generations of vehicles in the upper middle class.
22 inches are already available ex works
Suddenly there are even 22 inchers ex works. In the case of the RS6, for example, in the dimensions 10,5J x 22 ET 19 or something like that. But now it's getting a size bigger. Now it is called 23 inch. And the ultimate example of that is this red RS6 on Vossen Wheels of the LC2 series of the type LC2-C1.
The wheelset was built in the dimensions 23 × 11 in all around with a beautiful surface in Patina gold. There was also a subtle one Lowering and still typical for vehicles outside of Germany all around darkened windows. And the result is not only extremely impressive, the perfect fit from tire edge to wheel arch couldn't be more successful. The RS6 is simply extremely full and in our opinion does not need any further optical changes
23 inches - not designed for performance!
That the 23 inch setup is more for them Show than the performance is, that goes without saying. It looks a little different on the other hand with the second RS6.
