Turbo-Power & Vossen VFS-5 Alu's on Ford Mustang GT

Spectacular is probably the understated choice of words when it comes to how we should describe this Ford Mustang V (2004-2014). Ex factory Ford (apart from the Shelby GT 500) with this model exclusively on V6 & V8 naturally aspirated engines and thus delivered up to 450PS in the BOSS 302. If you wanted to enjoy the full program with up to 660 PS & 814 NM torque, you had to go to the 2013 Shelby GT500 with 5,8l V8 The engine, including the compressor, took hold and then had the certainty of owning the world's most powerful series V8. Incidentally, there was the vehicle for incredible "cheap"$ 55.000 (Importers demanded about 70.000). But a Mustang with a turbocharger? As far as we know, this has not existed since 1984, and the turbocharger was only reintroduced in the Mustang with the 2.3 EcoBoost of the current generation. Reason enough for the Mexican owner of the Ford Mustang GT to change that! This GT is equipped with the V6 as standard, although it is not clear to us whether the base is the 213 or the 309 PS variant.

In the end, it hardly matters because with the 67mm Comp turbocharger and a few other changes, the AMI develops a whole chunk more, and that with a breathtaking sound from a Magna Flow Competition series sports exhaust system. A lot has changed visually and especially the front with its 3 ″ Harwood bonnet is an absolute highlight and, in conjunction with the Anderson Composites Carbon Gt500 grille and a Shelby Super Snake carbon splitter, makes the Mustang look extremely beefy and aggressive. But the GT has not only changed completely at the front, there are also changes on the sides in the form of Roush side skirts and a really chic set of Vossen VFS-5 F alloy wheels in 20 x 9,5 inches at the front and 20 x 10,5 inches at the rear.

The new wheel set was equipped with Nitto G2 255/35/20 & 285/30/20 tires that still have their dear need to bring the performance to the road. There were also a lot of changes inside and so, for example, TMI Sport R highback seats were installed that set color accents with a chic white contrasting seam. A highlight in the trunk is the VU4 Accuair Airride system that ensures the extreme lowering and uses two polished gas tanks. However, the list of changes is much longer than what we have mentioned here and we have added it below for you. If we get more information about the modifications to the Mustang GT, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
