K Custom is with the Audi Q2 Challenge to the Wörthersee 2017 through and a project for the Essen Motorshow (December 02.12nd - December 10.12.2017th, XNUMX) was on the agenda. The object of desire this time was a VW Arteon which has almost nothing in common with the production vehicle and where K-Custom, as far as we know, was responsible for installing the chassis. Three important cornerstones determine the project: Airride air suspension, mbDesign alloy wheels and a shrill full wrap. But let's start with the exclusive wheelset. The glossy black painted 21 inch KX1 rims (9 × 21 Et 38) come from mbDesign, which are a decent house number for a VW Arteon in terms of their dimensions.

So that the wheel set fits perfectly in the wheel arch, a brutal lowering was of course inevitable. Here the owner decided on an Air Lift Performance air suspension including Air Lift Performance 3p control. The system enables the sedan called "AIRTEON" to be lowered down to the last millimeter in the direction of the road at the push of a button. If desired, a practical chassis setup can also be set at any time, which is necessary, for example, on longer distances or in poor road conditions. The visual highlight, however, is clearly the full digital wrapping of CR Car wrapping film technology in collaboration with Design atelier TTStudio.

Especially in combination with the shiny black accents on the radiator grille, the aluminum wheels or the exterior mirrors, it looks extremely successful and gives this Arteon the last bit of autonomy compared to other tuning projects (see below). Especially the integrated references to the involved companies we find here very successful. While foils often try to convey an advertising message with all the emphasis that is different in this vehicle. The hints are clearly visible but still somewhat discreet and fit perfectly into the overall picture of Ratlook optics.
