VW Arteon Big Sur - green one-off from the Enthusiast Fleet!

After the Jetta Blue Lagoon, the Tao's base camp and the Tiguan SE R-Line Black RiNo Volkswagen USA now has that VW Arteon Big Sur Concept presented. A vehicle that is also used for the so-called 2021 Enthusiast Fleet family and was created on the basis of an Arteon SEL Premium R-Line in uranium gray. The result is a forest green foliated Arteon, which is based on California's coastal area Big Sur was named. The unique concept vehicle got a specially made one Forest Green full wrap, which is in turn inspired by the Golf R, which Rotiform presented at the SEMA car show in 2019. Not only the body is foiled, but also all visible areas inside. That means that too Entrances, the Door insides or the inner area around the tailgate. Even the hood is wrapped inside. It all took a good time 50 to 60 hours.

The VW enthusiasts were responsible for the project Sean Maynard, Gil Plasencia from FMS Automotive and Jason Whipple by Rotiform. And they also spoke about the vehicle. "The Arteon is a hidden gem in the Volkswagen range“, Said Plasencia, for example. “The Arteon is a top limousine that has the elegance of a sports car and has all the features that Volkswagen drivers know and love - such as Lane Assist, Car-Net and, in addition, there is fantastic braking and driving behavior".

And that is further optimized by the new one Rotiform wheelset. Because in addition to the eye-catching foiling, there was also shiny black 20 inch Rotiform TUF-R monoblock rims with Continental Extreme Contact tires (DWS 06 Plus | 245/45 R20) and even a bodykit is built in. And that comes from the Japanese team at Voomeran. In concrete terms it is Voomeran Lower Valence body kit.

Lowering by means of coilover suspension

The bodykit consists of a special front splitter, there were side skirts and also one rear spoiler is built in. The Arteon has one for this Lowering (Front axle and rear axle approx. 3,8 cm lower, possible up to 6,35 cm) by means of coilover received, which ensures a very dynamic posture. The SEL Premium R Line is by the way the highest equipment variant of the Arteon with 4Motion all-wheel drive, Harman Kardon premium sound system and under the sheet metal sits a 2,0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine 280 PS and 350 Nm torque.
