Admittedly, the Arteon presented in 2017 received a heavy “To Do List” from VW. He should be the less successful VW CC heirs AND the even less popular VW Phaeton. While that seems quite successful for us in view of the CC, we think worlds separate it from the Phaeton. Especially with regard to the currently available engines and the boring interior, which hardly changes compared to the Passat. This car is supposed to be an alternative to the VW Phaeton, which was partly handcrafted and can still surprise you with many technical refinements? No way…
18-way adjustable seats, silently moving wooden screens in front of the ventilation grilles and of course the fantastic air suspension. We don't see a modern counterpart to the Phaeton in the Arteon, but rather in a current one Bentley continental. The situation is completely different with the recently presented Arteon from the tuner envy factor, which has received a completely revised interior. Here comes a vehicle that doesn't have to shy away from comparison with a VW Phaeton and so do many Bentley Driver would probably like the workmanship. Finally comes an Arteon of the beautiful appearance continues outside in the interior.
Almost every millimeter has been refined with a mixture of Alcantara and carbon in combination with a red contrasting seam, allowing the tuner to move the Wolfsburg into a higher league. Based on the vehicle livery, there were crimson color accents on the inside in the form of a red painted stripe. The stripe runs through the entire interior at the driver's eye level and is an absolute eye-catcher. The door panels have also been revised, which now have a honeycomb pattern with red contrasting stitching and this design can also be found on the center panels of the sports seats.
And of course the rear seat is also new and even the steering wheel has been revised and, in addition to a lot of Alcantara, also received a red stripe in the form of a zero adjuster. The decorative strips on the door panels and the dashboard are now finished with real carbon and thus deliberately set themselves apart from the many Alcantara. The headlining and the A, B and C pillars, which are now in dark Alcantara, are also subtly refined.
In our opinion, this VW Arteon now has exactly the level that VW describes in its glossy brochures! By the way, like every project from the tuner envy factor, this one also has its own name and so the Arteon was created under the addition "THE RED LINE PROJECT".
