VW Beetle TSI with Airride chassis and on Rotiforms!

It was the legitimate successor to the legendary Beetle, but never managed to build on the success of its predecessor even remotely. Its starting price was probably too high, and the two-door body too impractical in an automotive world in which only four-door vehicles can be sold in large numbers. Thus, in 2020, after only two generations, the heir to the Beetle had already read the trade fair again, and Volkswagen removed the model from its portfolio without replacement. The VW Beetle found a few fans in the Tuning scene, and above all in Latin American countries such as Mexico or Brazil, where the original VW Beetle was a huge success and is still an indispensable part of the street scene today. A modified example of the second generation of the Beetle, which was produced in the closed version from 2011 - 2019, which is based in Brazil, we are now introducing to you in more detail.

Cool crawling animal with depth!

The Wolfsburg model, which was sold in Brazil under the name “Fusca”, is visually very good. That Airride chassis, whose tank is housed in the trunk, ensures that the ride height can be individually regulated, and the Beetle successor crouches deep on the asphalt in the zero bar position.

A fat one also ensures an optimal sound Subwooferwhich was placed in the center of the trunk. The 19-Custom alloy rims by Rotiform referring to the model name OZR R158 hear, and have a classic design with their double-spoke optics and the silver layout. The raised Tires also have the format 225/30 R19. Other highlights of the Beetle are extremely heavily tinted side windows and the USDM front with the yellow side indicators, which are still mandatory in the USA to this day, in order to be allowed to register a vehicle.

Otherwise there are still black ones on the cool Wolfsburg Exterior mirror caps as well as black protective strips attached below the doors. All in all, the whole vehicle looks discreetly and extremely well modified, which makes it the perfect solution as a daily driver.

TSI petrol engine drives the Beetle

There's a lot going on under the hood of the stylishly refined Volkswagen Turbo gasoline engine with a displacement of two liters and a performance of exactly 200 PS. The maximum torque is included 280 Newton meters, and thus the sporty VW is sufficiently motorized from our point of view. Unfortunately, we do not know whether the model is equipped with a six-speed manual gearshift or a DSG transmission with seven speed levels, but in any case only the front wheels are driven. With the modern Beetle you can show the taillights not only in Brazil to stunned road users and step on the gas on the highway when you are in the mood.

Our Conclusion to this VW Beetle TSI:

From our point of view, this is what subtle and sporty tuning should look like. The project was a success, and we praise the tuner.
