The well-known VW tuner MTM Motorentechnik Mayer currently has tuning versions for the Golf 6 1,4TSI as well as the Golf 6 GTD and the Golf 6 GTI in stock that can be ordered immediately. It starts with the 1,4TSI, which already receives an increase in performance to 1.000PS and 210NM torque from € 310. The tuning only includes changing the engine electronics by MTM.

MTM's chip tuning also helps the Golf 6 GTD achieve more performance. The original 180HP turns into a powerful 205HP. The costs for this start at € 800. If the strong Golf 6 GTI does not yet have enough power, it can also be optimized by MTM. The GTI delivers a decent 210PS ex works, after MTM has "processed" the GTI, it bursts with impressive 270PS and impressive 380NM torque.
Here, too, the increase in performance is achieved through software optimization. From 1.500 € it is then possible to fly to 6,4km / h in just 100 seconds and the golf is only stopped at over 250km / h. By the way, MTM offers tuning packages for the body for all three models, body kit - exhaust system - aluminum rims etc. everything is available.
