We are currently not aware of any way to be more inconspicuous with 300 PS in a family station wagon than with the VW Golf R Variant MK7. Apart from slightly modified bumpers and an exhaust system in 4-pipe optics, there isn't really anything that suggests that the staid variant accelerates to 5 km / h in just 100 seconds and only brushes the sails at 250 km / h. On the Vossen Wheels website we discovered an MK7 R which optically pushes itself somewhat into the foreground compared to the production vehicle. But even here everything is still subtle and reserved. In addition to a significant lowering, the Variant R has also received a set of Vossen Wheels VFS-10 rims in an estimated 19 inches. The surface of the rims is dark gray and looks good with the rest of the silver-gray body as we find it.
⚠ Airride & coilover kit? ⚠
Apart from the significant lowering and the VFS-10 wheelset, a subtle body kit was installed. These include an elegant front spoiler and approaches for the side skirts. The built-in rear diffuser, on the other hand, is likely to be the series component. But apparently nothing was changed so that we leave you alone with the pictures at this point. 🙂 But if we do get some information about important changes, there is of course an update for this post. You will be informed about the update when you get ours Feed subscribed. We hope you enjoy watching.
