One thing is certain. JMS Fahrzeugteile is familiar with VW vehicles, among other things, and at HS Motorsport, things are no different. No matter if it's the new one VW Passat 3C B8 from JMS or the VW Bus T6 2.0 TDI from HS Motorsport, everyone has their own ideas and of course implements them accordingly and the end result is right for both. And what happens if both tuners simply team up? Then the following VW Golf GTD comes out, which has been subtly but clearly tuned. We are of course pleased that we can show you the modified 7 Series Golf in full glory and find that the car impressively shows that "sometimes less is more"! Nix body kit -> no conspicuous foiling or oversized alloy wheels ... Subtle tuning was the plan and this was successfully implemented.
The changes to the VW Golf GTD
As for the changes outside, inside, or with regard to any newly installed technology or interior details, we have made ourselves smart to find out the most important changes for you and have also received one or the other information. Among other things, a 19 inch Cor.Speed Performance Wheels wheelset and an adaptive KW DDC coilover kit (usable with VW DCC chassis) were installed. At this point we cannot promise whether we have discovered every little detail. What we were able to find out based on the information from the tuner and have recognized ourselves in the pictures, we provide you in a summary as always below.
But since we also like to see the proverbial “forest for the trees”, it is of course possible that we did not notice one or the other change that you will notice immediately. If so, and you have discovered even more modifications compared to the production model, we would be happy if you write them to us in the "comment box" under the post, we will then add them to the article as soon as possible.

These are the known changes to the VW Golf GTD compared to the series:
- Built in cooperation between JMS Fahrzeugteile and HS Motorsport
- Base: VW Golf 7 GTD (MK7)
- Cor.Speed Performance Wheels wheelset (one-piece, model Challenge, front axle 8,5 x 19 inches and rear 9,5 x 19 inches, matt gold)
- Tires front 225 / 35-19 and rear 245 / 30-19
- Lowering (KW coilover kit - adaptive KW DDC plug & play system, usable with VW DCC chassis)
- black VW emblem front and back
- red calipers
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
We are sure that we will receive some information and definitely new pictures and videos in the next few weeks. As soon as this is the case, we will of course add to the article and inform you about it.
