As we know, we regularly visit the website of Mcchip-DKR from Mechernich in North Rhine-Westphalia. Almost every day, the company posts vehicles that get the performance boosts that start with chip tuning and sometimes in extreme conversions like the spectacular Audi R8 V10 compressor end up. And of course the veteran of all tuning vehicles, the VW Golf, should not be missing. We've already modified over Golf 5 & 6 reported but a current MK7 we have not yet seen by Mcchip. (Maybe we just missed it) Yesterday, however, the company posted a whole flood of possible modifications for the standard 265 PS & 350 NM torque-strong VW Golf 7 GTI Clubsport. There are a total of four performance levels and the first performance level (Stage 1) brings it, exclusively by means of chip tuning software, to a whopping 350 PS & 440 NM torque.

A leap in performance of 85 PS & 90 NM that can only be achieved using new software is of course impressive. Is even more impressive Stage 2 which also includes a 200 cpsi downpipe and thus sends a whopping 375 PS & 455 NM to the front wheels. If that's still not enough for you, you can get clear 3 PS & 430 NM with level 485 and have to accept more profound changes. For Stage 3 must be changed to the above changes nor the turbocharger and a new intake snorkel is installed in Wolfsburg. The result, however, is impressive and should bring the front wheels in the first three gears to despair. As an absolute highlight, however, the company still has one last expansion stage ready, and this one is as Stage 4 available for 9.340 € and pushes the clubsport to phenomenal 475 PS & 510 NM torque, and thus due to the lower total weight in the league of a BMW M5 F10 or Mercedes E63 AMG.
In order to reach the last performance level the MK7 gets all changes of the previous expansion stages and additionally another intercooler. With this expansion stage, the club sport even laughs about the R360S, which is limited to 220 pieces and was built only for Switzerland. Only in the acceleration of 0-100 km / h, he should be somewhat inferior to the four-wheel-drive top model as nearly 500 horsepower on the front wheels, of course, anything but easily in propulsion can be implemented. But we assume that at least from 100-120 km / h, the Mcchip MK7 Clubsport can mercilessly put into action its immense performance advantage and drives its competitors clearly off. Most recently, the mcchip-dkr team posted a modified VW Golf 7 GTI Clubsport 2.0 TSI on its website. Here you increased the performance by means of Stage 2 tuning, that means that of course the in-house chip tuning software was installed, but also the in-house mcpipes downpipe is also installed. This provides an additional 15-20 hp. The combination of both results in an increase in performance of 101 PS & 106 NM torque, which means that 366 PS & 466 NM are now falling over the front wheels. Compared to the standard output of 265PS / 350Nm, that's of course a huge leap, and when you consider that 20 years ago the top model of the M5 was still on the road with a similar amount of power (the S62 V8 liked to scatter downwards), it's crazy to see where it is going Development goes.
