VW Golf GTI and Golf R from Oettinger to Wörthersee

The guys from Oettinger showed a new VW Golf GTI and Golf R at the Wörthersee meeting in 2017. The recently carried out Wolfsburg facelift of the Golf GTI and Golf R was really a challenge for the tuner's designers and engineers. If you consider how far the history of the tuner goes back, it's no wonder that you also did this job with flying colors. As early as the 70s, Oettinger developed a motor with 16V technology that was the first at that time. It was the basis for the GTI version of the Golf MK1 and took the world by storm. To this day, it is the most iconic tuning GTI of all.

The GTi is subtle but unmistakable. A new front spoiler including front splitter, side skirts and a four-pipe rear diffuser set the accents on the new Golf GTI facelift. In addition, there is a strikingly styled roof spoiler which underlines the sporty lines of the Oettinger Golf GTI with open racing flaps. With the sportier look and the impressive sound that escapes through the four-pipe sports exhaust system with 90 mm pipe cross-section, the Oettinger GTI gives an idea of what it can do. But owners of a GTD can also benefit from Oettinger-Parts. The GTI aerodynamics package also fits the GTD with 2.0 TDI technology.

The R ranks above the GTi, and the Oettinger version is a real powerhouse. And he wants to show that too. The new Oettinger aerodynamic add-on parts ensure more optical performance and are the spearhead of the tuner. Here, too, there is a new front spoiler that even has an adjustable front splitter, new side skirts and a four-pipe rear diffuser that looks quite aggressive. The design of the Golf R front spoiler and the rear diffuser is independent and was only conceived for the Golf R. You want to achieve your own design line compared to the GTI and GTD. The R also gets four 90 mm tailpipes and a distinctive roof spoiler with newly styled R-wings. And of course, extensive performance enhancements are also available on request.
