Better late than never we want you this today VW Golf 7 GTI "Next Level" project imagine that the Volkswagen trainees brought along to the Wörthersee 2018. Of course, it was primarily the two-liter turbo gasoline engine to the leather. After a lot of modifications, the engine now delivers full 302 kW (411 PS) and maximum torque of 500 Nm at 4.440 rpm. The performance increase is achieved by means of chip tuning including V / max cancellation and changes to the hardware. High-quality forged pistons and steel connecting rods from Mahle, a new turbocharger, a larger intercooler and a chic carbon intake system contribute to the rest.
And of course that includes a huge soundscape. The Gti comes with arm-thick pipes that are part of a hand-welded 3 inch pipe diameter stainless steel exhaust system and are combined with DTH door control. And so that the DSG can handle the extra power, there were also some changes here. The 3. and 7. Gear was strengthened and there was the synchronizer body of the DQ500 transmission. And so that the power can be consistently put on the road there were front and rear 8,5 x 20 inch large forged aluminum wheels from the group brother Audi R8.
The rims with their filigree 10 spokes convince with a bright-turned surface and an inner band in Tornado red. Equipped is the wheel set with Dunlop tires of the type Sport Maxx GT which are installed in the dimensions 235 / 30. Highlight of the tires is an incorporated "GTI" and "Wörthersee 2018" lettering. So that the new wheelset sits consistently in the wheel arch and the GTi can be directed particularly sporty, of course, had a new suspension ago. A B16 coilover suspension from Bilstein was installed which can be adjusted to the millimeter and ensures a significant lowering.
The factory control system DCC can continue to provide the driving modes soft, normal and sporty. It goes without saying that the immense extra power naturally also needs to be braked consistently. Therefore, large brake discs were used in combination with red painted brake calipers, which also come from the Audi Regal. The Audi S8 for the front axle and the rear axle has been used in combination with steel braided lines, the system of the current RS6. The saddles come from Brembo. And also the body has undergone quite a few changes. There was more visual sportiness with the Oettinger Bodykit (Front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, roof spoiler) which is particularly set by the specially built multi-colored underbody lighting in scene.
And the interior has been completely redesigned. Here you can see the finest Alcantara in combination with nappa leather, which can be found on both the seats and the interior parts. Everything is elegantly contrasted with red stitching and of course there were loads of "GTI" logos and logos. A highlight inside is certainly the envy factor steering wheel that has both the start button and the ability to control the exhaust valve and a "12 clock" mark carries. In the back of the cabin, it was decided to completely remove the back seat and instead install a hi-fi system.
There was only the best of the best and so manufacturers like Focal and Eton are involved as well as an Xbox One X game console with monitor including Forza 7. Decent 2.480 watts rated power make the GTI so incidentally to the cinema hall. The Next Level 2018 WOB AZUBI Volkswagen Golf 7 GTI Lake Wörthersee shows impressively what is feasible and what ambition and what precision has been demonstrated by the trainees. By the way, we have the complete Equipment list for you added below. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
