The ID.6 is specially tailored to the needs and wishes of Chinese customers in terms of space, functionality, design and especially user experience.

Available in four equipment variants, with a range of up to 588 km (China-NEDC) and 225 kW output as well as the IQ.Drive systems typical of the MEB, up to seven people are powerful, elegant and safe in the ID.61 on road.
The two batteries offered have a net battery energy content of 58 kWh or 77 kWh and allow a range of between 436 and 588 km (China-NEDC). The battery is located under the passenger cell, which guarantees a low center of gravity. The 4MOTION version of the electric machines has an output of 225 kW (305 PS) - enough for an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 6,6 seconds and a top speed of 160 km / h.

The 4,88-meter-long ID.6 uses the architecture of the Modular Electric Drive Kit (MEB) from Volkswagen. This divides the space for people and technology in a completely new way and in favor of the passengers. With the help of 30 centimeters more length than the ID.4, the ID.6 accommodates a third row of seats. The equipment range of the ID.6 includes 19 to 21 inch rims, a longitudinally adjustable second row of seats and a large panoramic glass roof. An openable panoramic sliding roof can also be selected as an option.
ID. typical, contemporary operating concept
The E-SUV manages without physical buttons and switches. The operating concept is based on a display with a 12 inch diagonal and touch function - and on the natural voice control "Hello ID." The new ID. Light - a narrow band of light under the windshield - supports the driver in an intuitive way. There is also an optional augmented reality head-up display that merges some of the displays with reality - navigation arrows, for example, are projected onto the road precisely to the lane. The assistance systems from IQ.Drive make driving even more relaxed, this is especially true for the Travel Assist. The software and hardware of the ID.6 are designed in a completely new architecture, so the customer can get updates in the car after the purchase.

Volkswagen is resolutely tackling the future topics of digitization, new business models and autonomous driving. With the ID. Family, a new, independent product line, Volkswagen recently added to the brand's classic product portfolio.
