Danger! There is a "Update " which contains new information (pictures, data, video). The new info you will find specially marked at the end of the article! ABT Sportsline is serious these days! Next to the A  and the Audi RS6 Avant-R the tuner has now released a tuned version of the current VW Passat Variant model series B8, which will also make it to the Geneva Motor Show alongside the other two. The built-in aerodynamic body kit on the Passat includes a front spoiler, side skirts and a rear spoiler on the roof.

The exterior mirrors have also been modified. The new ABT Sportsline chassis and the ABT FR light alloy wheels, which are available for the Passat in sizes 20 and 21 inches, ensure more dynamism in the Variant. The stainless steel exhaust system with four tailpipes should bring more sound because the performance of the 2.0 liter diesel (BiTDI), which comes from the factory with 240PS, has been increased by the tuner to 270PS. Of course, you shouldn't expect too much here because, despite the enormous performance, you shouldn't forget that it is a diesel and that this type of construction does not develop a lot of sound.

  • Performance increase from 240 PS / 176 kW to 270 PS / 199 kW and 540 Nm (separate control unit with ABT software)
  • including extensive guarantees
  • ABT body kit (front apron attachment, grille attachment, side skirt attachments, mirror caps, rear apron set, rear spoiler)
  • 4 pipe rear silencer
  • Light alloy wheel ABT FR in 20 inches (black painted body and front-polished double struts) - other cast and forged wheels available, e.g. design DR in 21 inches
  • Continental high-speed tires
  • ABT lowering springs
  • Sport stabilizers
  • Track widening set (+ 30mm)

Update from "02.06.2016/XNUMX/XNUMX"

There is new information about the above-mentioned vehicle which we can of course not withhold from you. ABT revs up powerfully and is now giving wings to almost all engine variants. A maximum of 336PS can currently be extracted from the two-liter TFSI engine, which is of course impressive compared to the standard 280PS.

  • If desired, four gasoline and three diesel engine modifications can be modified
  • 1,4 liter TFSI from 150PS to 180PS and 250NM to 290 Newton meters
  • 1,8 liter TFSI from 180PS to 210PS and 250NM to 310 Newton meters
  • 2,0 liter TFSI from 280PS to 336PS and 350NM to 420 Newton meters
  • Diesel engine from 150PS to 170PS and 340NM to 380 Newton meters
  • Diesel engine from 190PS to 215PS and 400NM to 440 Newton meters
  • Diesel engine from 240PS to 270 PS (see article from above) and 500NM to 540 Newtonmeter
