From Hell - 434PS & 541NM in the VW Polo WRC 2.0 TSI!

From Hell - 434PS & 541NM in the VW Polo WRC 2.0 TSI!

1,3t total weight, 220 PS & 350 NM torque, a 2,0l four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine and a manual six-speed gearbox. The key data for the VW Polo R WRC, limited to 2500 pieces, reads spectacularly for this vehicle class and one should actually think that the performance of the Wolfsburg is more than sufficient. But apparently not for the team from Nantes Equip'Auto Performance Center from France. They pump unbelievable 434 PS & 541,5 NM into the Polo and make it a horror for Porsche 911, Ferrari 458 & Co.

To achieve this brutal increase in performance, of course, you need an insane repertoire of modifications. We would like to mention the TheTurboEngineers TTE420 turbocharger, the Wagner Tuning intercooler, the BULL X Exhausts downpipe or the complete Milltek sports exhaust system as examples. However, these are by no means all components and so we have added a complete list for you below. And visually, a lot has changed because the Polo is significantly lower on the road thanks to the Bilstein B14 chassis and is on chic OZ Racing Ultraleggera aluminum rims in gold. Nevertheless, the visual changes are so minor that no one is expecting this brutal performance in the compact Polo.

The increase in performance should be particularly noticeable when pulling from 100 to 200 km / h and above and accelerate the Polo in a good half the time. Of course, the sprint to 100 km / h will also have improved, but since the Polo only has front-wheel drive, we assume that the factory 6,4 seconds will be reduced by a maximum of about 1 second. If we get more details about the changes, there is of course an update for this story. You will be informed about the update if you have ours Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
