After an eternal break, VW decided in 2008 to revive the Scirocco. The third generation of the Scirocco was born and was to build on the success of its predecessor with technology from the VW Golf V and Golf VI on the VW PQ35 transverse engine platform. But it hasn't really worked out since then. And after VW has decided to only sell the open version of the Beetle in Germany, things are likely to get worse for the successor to the Scirocco. In view of the fact that no 2016 customers in Germany ordered the Scirocco in 2000 and the Golf with almost 236.000 units, this should somehow be understandable. So you just have to make friends with what is out there and, as is well known, the Scirocco is the end of the R-model (CDLK - VW EA113) with 2.0 TSI and 280 PS & 350 torque. But not if you turn to the guys from B&B Automobiltechnik.
They ensure that the "old" CAWB - 2.0 TSI with standard 200 PS & 280 NM torque strengthens to a whopping 309 PS & 432 NM and thus easily overshadows the "R" and probably only one B&B Automobiltechnik Audi RS3 must fear. This is made possible by an in-house 3 performance kit that includes not only chiptuning software but also hardware modifications. Although we are no closer information about the modifications of the hardware known but we assume that the turbocharger have been revised, a new exhaust system is installed from the turbocharger and also, on the pictures to see, suction contributes their part. As far as the performance is concerned, this means that 5 km / h is only just over 100 seconds and that the standard top speed of 235 km / h is well exceeded.
