Against the brand new BMW X2, the Listen Q2 or the slightly larger one Mercedes GLA Volkswagen has provided the T-Roc. This was now with the first subtle modifications of the traditional tuner ABT Sportsline modified and we tell you what it all for the compact SUV from Wolfsburg. Under the bonnet you miss the 190 PS strong top model (VW EA888 - four-cylinder) the in-house control unit ABT Engine Control (AEC) which provides more power for 20%. Specifically, this means from the standard 190 PS are now tight 228 PS and the torque increases from 320 NM to 360 NM. Thus, the 2.0 TSI petrol engine already arrives damn close in terms of torque to the 2.0 TDI in the currently highest performance level of the 400 NM mobilized.

And optically, you have come up with something because the T-Roc can be placed on aluminum rims in up to 20 inches on request and those interested can choose from the rim designs DR, FR and ER-C in different color variants. And so that the new wheel set sits perfectly in the wheel arch and the long legs of the Wolfsburg is reduced, there is a lowering of 40 mm using ABT suspension springs. It is very likely that there will be performance increases for the 1.0 TSI, the 1.5 TSI or the diesel engines in the form of the 1.6 & 2.0 TDI in the future. Information on this is still missing.

And maybe you think of ABT even a few aerodynamic components in the form of a front spoiler, side skirts or a rear diffuser to develop even hornier would of course be a complete widebody kit so that the T-Roc really rocks! But even now, the changes provide a lot of individuality as we find. We can be curious ... If we get more details about the changes, there is, of course, an update for this report.
