For many people, a VW Multivan is a dream car when it comes to using it as a motorhome or for a large family. For generations, this van has had plenty of space for up to 9 people and luggage. Thus, he has not only become the darling of various craftsmen, but has also blossomed into a veritable family van, which is bought by more and more private individuals who have something to transport. Regardless of whether you move often, have to drive several children around the area, or have a large garden, the Bulli is ready for any eventuality. But of course you can also tune this vehicle really well, because for the VW T5, as for all Wolfsburg models, there are a lot of tuning parts that ensure that you can customize your Multivan.

A VW bus as an eye-catcher.

This T5, which drives around the UK, probably steals the show from all other VW buses because it has been completely modified by its owner. The first thing you notice is the drawn-down front with NoName grille. In addition, there are the heavily tinted headlights and the LED daytime running lights in Audi style. The side windows on the driver's side of the right-hand drive were also covered and also kept in blue, as was the entire body, which is foiled in ocean blue metallic. A self-made four-pipe exhaust system was attached to the rear, which is very reminiscent of the current Mercedes-AMG style. To enable the extremely low ground clearance, an Airrex air suspension was also installed, which can be raised and lowered using the Airlift V2 remote control. In addition, an Air Zenith OB2 compressor is installed, which additionally supports the air suspension. An absolute highlight, however, is the 19-inch Ferrari OEM rims, which immediately catch the eye, as well as the yellow painted brake calipers that live behind these rims, which are probably unique on a VW.

A lot of work was done in the interior.

Major modifications have also been made to the driver's cab. For example, the driver and front passenger sit on Recaro CS sports bucket seats, which are covered with nappa leather and Alcantara in GTI style. In addition, blue sports belts are installed and the gear lever of the 6-speed manual transmission comes from a VW Golf MK7 GTI. Unfortunately, we don't know what the rear of the tuned VW T5 looks like, as we can't see behind the front seats.

The engine remained unchanged.

There are many different variants of the 2-liter TDI engine from VW, which produces between 90 and 240 hp. This VW T5 has the 2-liter TDI biturbo with 180 horses and 400 Nm of maximum torque under the hood and the power is transmitted via a six-speed manual transmission. The box, which stands in the wind like a wall unit, achieves respectable driving performance. The 100 km / h mark is cracked from a standing start in just over 11 seconds and the VW only has to stretch its arms at 191 km / h. So you are guaranteed to get puzzled looks from other road users when driving this huge van over 190 km / h on the highway.

A VW bus for all VW and tuning fans.

You don't see a VW T5 like this every day, because the staid box has become a real eye-catcher, which due to its black-tinted headlights in Germany would probably not get TÜV approval. If you want to design your desired Bulli in a similar way, a lot of creativity and skill is required, and if you can't get enough of the British VW Multivan, just take a look at the picture gallery at the end of the article. If we receive timely information on further changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
