190 PS more! Tuner APR shows the VW Tiguan 400 TSI

What an announcement! Tuner APR helps the standard 220 PS strong VW Tiguan II (since 01 / 2016) with CHHB-VW EA888 four-cylinder turbo to increase performance on insane 410 PS. The factory torque of 350 NM increases at the same time on 560 NM and thus makes the compact SUV from Wolfsburg even the brand new Alpina XD3 (G01) with 388 hp in the shade. From now on it does NOT go to 6,3 km / h in 6,5–100 seconds but the APR Tiguan completes this discipline, in the video embedded below, on a wet track and with Semi slicks in only 5,41 seconds. We are sure that under optimal conditions the 5 seconds mark will be easily cracked. The video also shows that only 150 seconds pass for the sprint to 10,34 km / h and thus the 200 km / h mark should be cracked in well under 20 seconds. It continues on request up to 270 km / h which compared to the series with 225 km / h is also a considerable value. To achieve this increase in performance, APR is installing a carbon intake system, the Golf R turbocharger, a larger turbo-inlet pipe, a new downpipe and a modified intercooler.

In addition, there is a "real" in-house chip tuning for the original engine control unit that ensures that the measured Values of 410 PS & 560 NM can be achieved. And of course there was not only engine tuning but also a lot of other changes to the vehicle. For example, the brake system from the Golf R's performance package on the front axle ensures decent deceleration. There was also a coilover kit from KW and a set of 20 inchers. The most striking visual change is the silver-gray camouflage decals in combination with the black paintwork of the body. If you omitted this foiling, only the absolute connoisseur would be able to make a difference to the series. A typical wolf in sheep's clothing! If we get some more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to.
