From now on it flexes its muscles! Who am I talking about? Well, from the current 4,2 liter TDI VW Touareg which comes fresh from the ABT Sportsline halls in Kempten (Allgäu). The tuner presents the current Touareg as the latest model on its website, placing the main focus on the 4.2TDI but also on the smaller 3.0TDI. While the "small" is being pushed from 262 PS (193kW) & 580Nm to powerful 290 PS (213 kW) and 650NM, the big 4.2TDI is now clearly on top. With an increase in performance to a whopping 385 PS (283 kW) and 880 Nm, the series version with its 340 PS (250 kW) & 800 Nm torque should look pretty tired compared to the Allgäu model. And in terms of optics, the whole thing continues because ABT wouldn't be ABT if you didn't have something to improve on the design.
The ABT aerodynamics package with a new front grill attachment, a pair of headlight covers, a rear wing and a rear apron set with ABT double tube covers is optionally available now. However, we already know the aerodynamic components and the increased performance of the 3.0TDI for a good year, only the brilliant performance increase for the big 4.2 seems to be new. The ABT Sportsline GmbH team published the modified Touareg on their website and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the pictures. After the extensive tuning cure that the Touareg was allowed to endure, its optics are now definitely significantly changed, more individual and more dynamic than the production version, without exaggerating. So if you have been secretly thinking of buying a current Touareg for a long time, or if you are already a happy owner, ABT Sportsline GmbH is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.

- Performance increases for the 3.0 TDI from 262 PS (193kW) & 580Nm to 290 PS (213 kW) and 650NM

- ABT aerodynamic package (front grill attachment, headlight covers, rear wing, rear skirt set with ABT double pipe covers)
- ABT Sportsline sport rims (models CR and DR in 20 and 22 inches)
- ABT suspension springs (optional ABT Level Control System for electronic lowering for vehicles with air suspension up to 40 mm at the front and 30 mm at the rear)
