The edition of the Cupra Formentor VZ5 is on 7.000 vehicles strictly limited. The 2,5-liter five-cylinder turbo gasoline engine, unlike the Generation 8 Golf R, is allowed to drive the VZ5 with the official blessing from Ingolstadt. The engine is installed in combination with a improved cooling in the top model of the Formentor series. The VZ5 does 390 PS and so there is a certain respect distance to the five-cylinder RS ​​models from Ingolstadt, the 400 PS and in the upcoming RS3 will certainly produce around 435 hp. Compared to the previous Formentor top model with 310 hp from the well-known 2,0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine, the gap is clear. And the VZ5 can even use the full 480 Newtonmeter torque use. So it goes in 4,2 seconds at country road speed and only at 250 km / h does the Spaniard reach the electronically limited top speed (Audi 280 km / h).

The instrument cluster can be configured individually by the driver and there is also one 12 inch touch screenthat connects to the smartphone via Apple carplay or Android Auto manufactures.
