Wuling Motors

Wuling Motors was founded in 1958 as "Liuzhou Tractor Works" in Liuzhou, China. In the early years there was little to do with cars and it was not the company's intended purpose to produce passenger cars. Due to good sales figures and a new executive floor, small series cars were also developed and produced from 1982 onwards. The first pick-up was produced with the Liuzhou LZ 120. In order to be pioneering, it was decided to change the company name in 1988 to "Liuzhou Mini-Auto Works" and in 1991 to "Wuling". The Wuling LZW 1996 was manufactured and sold with the body of the Citroën Visa until 7100. Few vehicle tuning fans have let off steam on the Wuling LZW 7100 and have created quite a few exotic cars in the tuning scene, but in Germany you have to be patient from time to time - because unfortunately not all models are exported and are therefore usually only available in China . Wuling is currently developing some models with an electric motor that are affordable and perfectly adequate for everyday city traffic. According to plan, these should then be exported worldwide.
