If you see this vehicle then you can't believe that the design of the Aston Martin Vantage dates back to 2005. OK. the roadster comes from 2007 but looks really different, apart from the missing roof, it is not. Of course there was a subtle facelift in 2008, and we haven't forgotten the more extensive changes in 2012! Nevertheless, the basic shape is already 12 years old and in my opinion you don't see that in any rounding. And especially if you have the open British temptation modified, there is actually no thought of the successor. I am of the opinion that even the DB10, which was specially built for the James Bond film "Specter", is not really the nicer vehicle and its 4,7 l V8 engine, with 321 kW (436 hp) from the V8 Vantage S, well the big difference is different. An absolute highlight is this metallic red Vantage Roadster that was presented yesterday on the website of the rim label Vossen Wheels. A breathtakingly beautiful vehicle that stands on a set of matt gold VPS-315T forged wheels.

But as smart as the new wheelset is, the real highlight is an extensive widebody kit with visible carbon fiber applications that ends at the rear in a huge diffuser. But let's start at the beginning. Here you built a completely new bumper sideways wider than the standard and a discreet front spoiler lip with Sichtcarbon surface has. A beautiful accent on the bumper is also the aperture around the air intake in the bumper, it visually fits perfectly and ensures a dynamic appearance. The front fenders seem to be completely new and have been widened according to the bumper and still have a shape that fits optimally to the body. Particularly spectacular is the fact that everything has a shape and was not just put on how to do that with the many Liberty Walk or Pandem conversions knows. On the side, carbon sills were used which ended in large air vents in the lower part of the side wall and so on 2015er Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Special Edition recall. And the rear fenders were also significantly widened and now flow into a spectacular bumper. The bumper has of course been adapted to the shape of the sidewalls, but it ends rather abruptly and allows a comprehensive view of the tires on the rear rims. Also, the bumper is covered with carbon and the highlight is certainly the adjustable diffuser optically for felt 5 tons of pressure should provide. In the event that the contact pressure but still is not enough you built on the boot lid nor a carbon spoiler lip whose dimensions are anything but decent.

Visually, the component looks a bit like the well-known Liberty Walk Ducktail spoiler I think. Apart from the built-in aluminum rims, we have no information about the vehicle at all, so we cannot say with certainty which sports exhaust system was installed here. And we are not aware of any information about the significant lowering, but we assume that the Vantage has received an Airrex Airride air suspension. Finally, it should be noted that the yellow main headlights are not installed ex works, but are an absolute feature of this certainly unique vehicle, especially in connection with the beautiful paintwork. If we receive technical information about the components, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.

Update

News from 31.05.2017/XNUMX/XNUMX

The spectacular Aston Martin Vantage widebody has received a new set of alloy wheels for the summer 2017. These are Vossen VWS-2 (VWS2) rims as we already have them from Chevrolet Camaro or even that Hyundai Genesis Coupe know. And this wheel set is also perfect for the Aston Martin Vantage Cabrio. The dimensions on the front axle are 20 × 11 inches and the rear axle measures a hammer-hard 20 × 12,5 inches. It is a two-part rim whose rim star is painted in matte gunmetal and whose rim base has a brushed anodized contrast. Have fun with the new pictures and the video that, moreover, a modified one that is almost identical in construction Aston Martin Vantage Coupe in GT3 look shows!

There is more to the coupe HERE.
