Hard to believe but it was the International Motor Show 2007 on which BMW has expanded the 1er model line with the E82 Coupe. The sales start for the sporty compact Munich was then the 24. November 2007. Almost ten years ago... But even today, details such as the long bonnet, the slim passenger cabin and the short stern are absolute eye-catchers. Before BMW brought the brilliant 1M onto the market, the top model was the 135i, with its 3,0-liter six-cylinder biturbo that sent 225 kW (306 hp) to the rear wheels. A modified M-Sport package is always part of the 135i. You can recognize it by the Gurney Flap on the trunk lid, painted brake calipers with BMW lettering or the non-existent fog lights, but there is an oil cooler at this point (passenger side). But if these subtle details are not enough for the normal 1 Series Coupe, the team at N5tuner (California, USA) maybe just the right one in stock.

On request, they transform the discreet 1er Coupé into a powerful, wide-bodied monster that does not have to hide from the current F87 M2 Coupe. The absolute highlight of the remodeling is definitely the handmade widebody kit. Although we already know a similar variant of Prior Design, the modified body of N5tuner is a bit sharper everywhere. The tuner widened the front fenders and the rear side walls significantly, and the fact that no attachments were created here, but a seamless transition to the body is guaranteed. Of course, this involves a lot more effort, but the result is definitely worth it, the 1 Series Coupé has an absolutely harmonious shape and could thus also come from the Munich plant. In addition to the widened fenders, a carbon aerodynamic package also contributes to the brutal appearance.

The body kit consists of a large front splitter, eye-catching side skirts with flaps front & rear, a diffuser and a spoiler lip on the boot lid. A new hood with power dome, in the style of the E92 M3, was also installed. RevoZport carbon parts were used in the interior, so the standard door panels were replaced with those made of carbon and also a few DINAN parts such as the gear lever, the pedals or the floor mats. The last spark of individuality is given off by the many bright green accents on the interior trim, the shift bag or the handbrake lever. But now to the outside again! Of course, a new wheel set had to be installed to match the significantly widened body. The decision was made for Vossen Wheels forged wheels of the type CG-204 in chic silver which are equipped with tires from the Toyo Tires brand. So that the new aluminum rims sit perfectly in the wheel arch, a significant lowering must not be missing and so the 135i moves much closer to the ground thanks to the coilover suspension.

If you take a closer look, you can see through the spokes of the rims that a complete brake system has also been installed, here it was decided to use a Brembo brake system with slotted brake discs and striking green painted brake calipers (matching the interior). Unfortunately, we have almost no information about an increase in performance. But we are pretty sure that the Wavetrac differential or the Milltek stainless steel sports exhaust system are not just a show, but also that the performance of the 135i has been clearly adapted to the optics by means of further changes to the hardware and chip tuning. The "ProjectJayden" called vehicle is so far the most extreme based on an E87 that we have presented on tuningblog.eu, we hope that we will soon be able to introduce more vehicles from N5Tuner. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
