First try - Widebody BMW F90 M5 by tuningblog.eu

Reading time 3 Minutes

Just now we have in the course of our story to virtually modified Widebody BMW M760LI G12 7er pointed out that at least on paper, the new F90 M5 in terms of performance data did not manage to overtake the upper-class model M760Li. Of course, it is almost 300 kg lighter and all in all a blink of an eye faster here and there, but the differences are not really worth mentioning. In view of the almost identical performance and similar dimensions of the body, this is not really a miracle. At least with regard to the dimensions compared to the standard M760Li G12, we have put a few ideas into action to push the F90 M5 in front of the upper-class flagship. The highlight is of course the widebody kit that we have seamlessly integrated into the body and that ensures that the side walls have grown by approx. 5 cm on the right and left, giving the M5 a much more aggressive appearance.

Tuning the new BMW M5 F90? Why not…?

In addition, there was a carbon rear diffuser from the house for the standard M-bumper Vorsteiner which convinces with four large tailpipes of a sports exhaust system. In addition, we darkened the taillights and activated them at the same time and the M5 emblem now shines in black. Almost impossible to implement in reality, but not really a problem virtually, is also the subtle "chop“Of the roof that ensures that the vehicle looks more compact and even more dynamic. Finally, of course, a significant lowering should not be missing, and so we have made sure that the body of the M5 is moved by approx. 80 mm on the rear axle towards the road.

We have made the following virtual changes:

  • Widebody kit (seamlessly integrated into the body, side walls on the right and left increased by approx. 5 cm)
  • Carbon rear diffuser by Vorsteiner
  • Sports exhaust system
  • Taillights darkened and activated
  • M5 emblem in black
  • Roof chopped
  • significant lowering

Now our question to you, what do you think of that? Would you like the M5 F90 as modified by us on the computer or would that be “too much” and yet a number too blatant? In any case, I would be happy to see the car like this or at least something similar on our streets and could imagine that it is quite an eye-catcher. 🙂 Ps.
