Top Secret Tuning's extreme widebody Dodge Challenger SRT8

So far you had to cross the pond every time when it came to modifying a Dodge Challenger SRT8 of the third generation with a widebody kit. Almost no one in Germany deals with the beefy American and there is hardly anyone who cuts the body and wants to install new aerodynamic parts from Japan. Although there are always a few vehicles that have been modified, the difficult procurement measures, both for the vehicle and for the accessory components, just take their toll. Luckily the guys from "Top Secret Tuning“Get hold of a 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 and converted it into an absolute BadBoy.

The most noticeable change is clearly the Japanese Liberty Walk widebody kit that allows the Challenger to break through 2 meters in width. In the style of the already presented variants of Road Wheels or the SR Auto Group The German version is also extremely brutal and once again significantly more impressive than the production vehicle, which already looks bitterly angry. The body kit just mentioned consists of extremely flared front and rear fenders, a large three-part ducktail rear spoiler, side skirts, a front splitter and a powerful hood with air intakes. But especially the matt black foiling all around allows the bad appearance of the Challenge to succeed so rigorously! Anyone who modifies a vehicle so extremely does not install a 30mm lowering kit, of course, but also works with the full range. Top Secret Tuning opted for an Airride air suspension with dumped dampers and AccuAir kit that brings the 1,8 tonne Challenger to its knees down to the last millimeter. But what would the above components be without the perfect wheelset !?

Here, too, it had to be a bit black and so the Challenger got a rare wheel set of the type RAD48 XR in the extremely lush dimensions 11 × 20 inches ET55 at the front and 12 × 20 inches ET62 at the rear. The new Alu's are equipped with fat Vredestein Ultra Vorti rollers in the format 255 / 40R20 and 285 / 35R20. State of the art, of course, a huge increase in performance is also part of the program. By means of a modified intake system, chip tuning, modified camshafts and the in-house Top Secret custom stainless steel sports exhaust system, the 476 liter HEMI-V6,4 with 8hp is now able to send a whopping 516 hp to the rear wheels. Please note that the V8 is a purely naturally aspirated engine and thus the extra power gained is all the more impressive. As the first picture of the article impressively shows, the modified V8 has no trouble at all to make the 285 slippers despair and to dissolve in smoke at any time.
