We commit ourselves - here comes Japan's hottest Integral! A vehicle created by editor and photographer Dino Dalle Carbonare (Speedhunters magazine) on the past Tokyo Auto Salon (11. Jan. 2019 - 13. Jan. 2019) was discovered and captured with fantastic pictures. Specifically, it is a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II built in 1993, the Masato Hatano heard. Equipped ex works with 215 hp, this example is just as aggressive under the hood as it is on the outside. The reason is an extreme increase in performance to over 600 hp, which ensures that the 2,3 liter four-cylinder with the ridiculous curb weight of approx. 1.300 kg has no trouble.

The increase in performance is primarily achieved with the new Garrett GT3037 turbocharger, but a lot of other modifications were also necessary. On the hardware side, there was a new crankshaft with OS Giken pistons, new connecting rods, the cylinder head was extensively revised and the displacement was increased by 0,3 liters. To ensure that everything works together perfectly, a MoTeC engine control unit was then installed. And of course there is the massive aerodynamic kit from Masashi Matsumoto, It ensures that the integral at least the mighty look of the Evo E1 received, especially at the rear it is even more extreme, in our opinion. The body kit is made entirely of carbon and gives the EVO II a huge front spoiler with huge air intakes and large side flaps. And there are also two large canards.

Carbon, carbon, carbon - everywhere

Even the standard radiator grille is now made of carbon. It continues with a new bonnet with large air intakes and power dome. The highlight, however, is definitely the huge fender flares all around. While they are at least a little bit adapted to the body on the front axle, the rear axle is more than just extreme. The integral is so wide here that the built-in two-tone Enkei alloy wheels of the type NT03RR with slicks are practically next to the body. The extensions are connected with huge side skirts, which of course also shine in the noble carbon fiber. And it's also violent at the rear. There is an exorbitantly huge rear diffuser and, to match, a huge spoiler in a gooseneck design that was attached through the rear window.

more rear wing is not possible - pure racing

If you open the rear doors, however, it becomes clear that the finale has not yet been reached. The reason for this is the currently very little lovingly cut out wheel houses on the rear axle. And the interior is also designed entirely for racing. Everything that caused weight was thrown out and you have now installed a specially adapted steel roll cage. The seats are Recaro bucket seats with OMP belts and the optical highlight here is a digital MoTeC infotainment system. Many details such as the small sports steering wheel or the Alcantara cover of the dashboard round off the interior impressively. WOW! If we receive more information in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report as always.
