Have you ever heard of the team? Car Solutions Performance Parts (short CSPP) heard? The 2015 based tuner has a new corporate headquarters in Nörvenich and immediately presented a completely rebuilt Golf R of the current, seventh generation model. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the complete vehicle a TÜV approval did not take anything for granted these days. Incidentally, the focus of the project was on reducing the weight of the R and, among other things, implementing the new rims. The decision was made for 19 Zoll (9 × 19) OZ forged wheels of the type Superforgiata weighing less than 8 kg. Equipped is the wheel set with tires for the racetrack and especially it is the type Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R in the format 235 / 35 ZR19.

Lamborghini Aventador brake system

A look through the spokes also reveals a modified brake system with orange painted saddles. Sautéed are OEM Lamborghini Aventador six-piston front calipers with perforated 390-millimeter Wave discs from an Audi RS5. The 356 millimeter discs on the rear axle, on the other hand, are being taken in the pincers by four-piston calipers from the Audi R8. In addition, there was a separate saddle for the parking brake. So that the wheelset sits perfectly in the wheel arch, and also on the racetrack the last tenth can be brought out, of course, the chassis had to be changed. They have installed a Bilstein B16 Damptronic coilover suspension which can be individually adjusted to all needs at any time. Wolfsburg still loses even more overall weight thanks to the classy carbon fiber bonnet by Boca and Mücke wide-body fenders made of GRP.

lots of carbon aerodynamic parts

The aerodynamic upgrade is made possible by the cup front spoiler lip and the cup diffuser from Maxton, and the small carbon canards and the Oettinger roof spoiler also contribute to the improved contact pressure. Anyone who knows Mücke fenders knows that these are slightly wider than the series. So that the optical ratio continues to fit, CSPP has widened the side panels at the rear by around four centimeters in metal. A very successful modification that could also come directly from the factory. Only when it comes to engine power has "not yet" run the full program. The 300 hp two-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine was previously only given an Eventuri intake system made of Kevlar and a powerful Friedrich Motorsport sports exhaust system with valve control. The changes to the interior, on the other hand, are quite extensive.

Racing also in the interior

Again, everything is designed for racing and so got the MK7 black Alcantara Recaro Sportster sports seats, an orange Wiechers Clubsport roll bar with double cross and many accessories made of carbon. The Wolfsburg is controlled by the way with a modified sports steering wheel together with chic aluminum shift paddles. The setup is rounded off in the interior of CSPP Clubsport rugs. With this floor should also be just above 300 PS range to compete with BMW M2 or Mercedes A45 AMG on the racetrack. If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned before, there is of course as always an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We wish you a lot of fun watching the pictures.
