A few days ago, Porsche presented the brand new Cayenne (Type PO536) and thus the official successor to the Type 92A. The latest generation has increased its length by 63 mm with the same wheelbase and is also 44 mm wider. There will be no fewer than 19 inch rims with the new one and the "S" version with 440 PS & 550 NM torque already shows that downsizing is not really an issue for the luxury SUV in Zuffenhausen, even under the hood. Since the current generation will only be available to the public at the International Motor Show (IAA) in September 2017 in Frankfurt am Main, potential interested parties will probably have to wait a while.
A few days ago, on the website of the rim label Z-Performance Wheels, an even more up-to-date, type 92A was released which impressively shows that an extensive widebody kit can ensure that its predecessor is given similar dimensions as the new one. In terms of width, this is even much richer than the type PO536! A Prior Design PD600 widebody body kit was fitted with a new front bumper with additional vents and side vents, massive wheel arch extensions all around, a set of side skirts and a new rear bumper with solid diffuser for a central sports exhaust system. The Cayenne was wrapped in a shimmering foil in purple (Purple) which, in conjunction with the new wheelset, makes the Cayenne an absolute eye-catcher.
The wheel set is ZP.FORGED 3 | Deep Concave alloy wheels which are installed in the dimensions 11 × 22 inches on the front axle & 13 × 22 inches on the rear axle. They have matte gunmetal painted rim stars and also chocolate polished rim beds and thanks to an extreme lowering they sit perfectly in the wheel arch. Unfortunately, we do not know how the lowering was carried out at the moment. But we assume that it is a coilover kit or even an Airride air suspension. Small details such as the completely tinted windows all around, the darkened taillights or the black accents on the exterior mirrors, the roof or the rear diffuser round off the Cayenne impressively.
Much more is due to the little information available to us at the moment but not to say so that we leave it in the pictures. Of course, if we get new details about the changes, there is, as always, an update for this report.
