After the already very noticeable Revozport Tesla Model X R-Centric Kit the tuner has now released another variant. And there is now the so-called "Model XR aero kit“, Which should bring even more sportiness and aggressiveness to the Stromer. Compared to the variant from 2 years ago, the components from the kit from 2020 are even a bit more visible and especially the attached fender flares are more noticeable. However, the kit somehow gives the Model X a bizarre look. At first glance, the SUV mutates into a station wagon (hatchback) in the style of an Opel Vectra B, a Citroën C6 or an Audi A7, as we think. It looks like a hatchback on stilts! But maybe only we feel that way !? But let's get to the details of the Model X from the R-Zentric department of RevoZport with the XR Kit.

Inspired by the 3R Evo model!

Inspired by the 3R Evo model, the aero package is made of carbon fiber composite material and brings a new bonnet with air openings, a large front splitter, thick side skirts, an aggressive rear diffuser and an active rear wing mounted on the tailgate with a two-part design to the Model X. It is suitable for the P100D model or vehicle with an active spoiler. According to RevoZport, the kit changes the aerodynamics of the Model X for the better. An additional downforce should be generated with almost unchanged air resistance. And with regard to the front spoiler and rear diffuser, the towing of the Model X can be used. With regard to the current expansion of the electric network and the sometimes ridiculous range of the vehicles under load, this is certainly not a bad idea. And of course we would also like to select the already mentioned flared fenders all around.

Widenings for the fenders all around

They turn the Model X into a widebody variant and widen the body on the front axle by 25 mm (1 inch) on the front axle and by 35 mm (1,4 inches) on the rear axle. This enables the installation of befitting bikes. The specially made forged wheels from RevoZport fill the wheelhouses in the front in the format 9 × 22 inches ET + 1 and in the rear in hefty 11 × 22 inches ET + 10 with 265/35 and 315/30 tires from Michelin. Incidentally, the body kit can also be combined with the kit from 2018 mentioned at the beginning as an upgrade kit. The extended XR kit is then available with the widened fenders, the side skirts and there are still striking ones at the front and rear canards.
