We have already been able to find countless tuned versions of the model that listens to the factory code A90 for you online, and the enthusiasm for tuning seems to be endless. Now the Japanese tuner has SARDS, who specializes in refining and technically modifying Toyotas, presents a very special widebody kit for the new JDM star. Despite the various tuning options and parts that are already available for the new Supra, the body kit stands out from the crowd, which is why we will now introduce it to you in more detail.

Show car in the style of the 1990s.

With this body kit, the new Supra is reminiscent of its legendary predecessor, the MkIV, which dominated the JDM scene in the 1990s and has become an absolute cult car today, which above all achieves record prices at auctions without modifications. In addition to the wide body, the front apron in the style of the JDM scene of the millennium years is also striking. In addition, 20-inch aluminum in matt black was pulled up, which gives the Supra a very special touch. Behind the rims there is an Alcon brake system with 6-piston brake calipers, the brake discs of which have a diameter of 380 mm. For such a vehicle, this is an absolutely appropriate format for decelerating appropriately even from high speeds. At the rear, of course, a spoiler in beer table format could not be missing, which almost makes you forget the small tear-off edge at the rear. In addition, two active air scoops were installed at the front, which should ensure that the engine receives more cooling air. In our eyes, the Supra with the widebody kit is a bit reminiscent of a Dodge Viper, although you can of course immediately recognize that it is a current generation Supra. So equipped, you should definitely be the eye-catcher at a JDM meeting and stand out from the crowd of Supras and GT-Rs.

The engine was also brought into shape.

Tuner SARD of course insists on giving the Supra more power, because after all, you can never have enough power. Thanks to the modifications to the engine, which received a new control unit and two new BorgWarner turbochargers, the drive unit now has around 500 hp. That is a plus of a good 160 hp compared to the series. The 3-liter twin-turbo gasoline engine from the BMW shelf remained in the engine compartment, and it did not become one Engine swap performed. Further modifications are titanium rear silencers and a high-flow catalytic converter, which also contribute to increased performance. The performance should be on the level of a super sports car, and the bullet is guaranteed to cut a good figure even on the quarter mile.
