Did you know that the guys from Clinched also have fender flares for the VW Golf MK4? After we have the huge essays already at one Golf 5 (MK5) were admired, something has now been made for the predecessor. The company shows us the widenings with exposed screw connections on a dreamlike VW Golf IV R32 in red. They are part of a subtle body kit which also consists of a front splitter, sill swords and an approach for the rear apron. Everything is made to look extremely clean and that's exactly what the MK4 does. The radiator grille without a brand emblem, the removed emblem on the tailgate and the missing windshield wipers ensure that the Wolfsburg looks particularly successful.

But the small details such as the removed nozzles of the headlight cleaning system, the removed trim strips and the discarded indicators in the fenders also play their part. The absolute highlight is definitely the fantastic multi-part BBS R888 wheelset, which was specially made for this vehicle. It comes with a gold rim star with central locking optics and also has a highly polished rim bed on display. And even the wheelset used here is an absolute eye-catcher.

Toyo Proxes R888 tires with tire stickers

The R888 Alus are covered with Toyo Proxes R888 tires, which draw attention to themselves with their white tire stickers. And of course there would be the lowering. Without this, the R32 would not be so full. An airride air suspension with airlift performance control is installed here and the R32 is moved to the last millimeter in the direction of the road if desired. In some pictures we see the MK4 with a much bigger body kit. There was an extreme rear wing, a large front splitter, huge side skirts and a much more aggressive rear diffuser. As far as we know, this is the latest version of the R32, which is constantly updated by its owner. And there are also changes in the interior. In addition to LED lighting, we can also see a complete roll cage and there are also bucket seats with Sparco belts, a royal wooden sports steering wheel and other smaller details.

most powerful component is definitely the rear wing

And something has already happened under the hood. The factory-provided 241 hp six-cylinder V-engine with a displacement of 3189 cm3 received, among other things, a new charge air cooler and a specially made sports exhaust system and should therefore receive some additional horsepower. A dreamlike vehicle that impressively shows that the appearance of the Golf IV released in 1997 is still up-to-date. If we receive more details in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report as always. And if you want to see what changes in the near future on the MK4, just follow the Instagram profile of Ryan Maretsky that belongs to the R32. Or you subscribe to our feed and if there is something new, you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy viewing the pictures.

a comment

  1. Hi,
Does anyone know by chance which rear wing is installed there? Is it a custom-made product especially for this car, or is it also available for normal mortal tuning meeting screwdrivers 😉
Thanks for info and hints schonmal advance
