The current VW Golf GTI, Type MK7, so far we've only seen fat one time! And indeed the end of 2015 was the GTI of Sidney Industries the one prototype of a Pandem rocketbunny tra-kyoto Bodykit's from the well-known tuner. With the drop center rims from Schmidt installed at the time, the vehicle was absolutely unique and more extreme than any other 7 Series GTI presented so far. But today we found a second vehicle that is at least as extreme as Sidney's MK7. It is a white painted GTI RS that was published on the Vossen Wheels website with many pictures and a video. This Golf has also received the extremely eye-catching Rocket Bunny wide body kit with its mighty fender flares all around, a large front spoiler and a striking roof edge spoiler.

285 tires also in front

In addition, it is especially the alloy wheels that stand out. An 19 inch was installed here, and large 11J wider, Vossen Forged VPS 317 wheelset as we already have on Porsche RS 911 GT3 Have seen at the beginning of the year. The wheel set was equipped with Nitto INVO tires in the format 285-30-19 and the trick is, the 285er slippers are mounted not only on the rear axle but also in front. In general, the wheelset at the front and rear completely identical what shows how extreme the front fender flares are but to accommodate such a format can.

Of course, the GTI was also given a significant lowering, but it was not, as one might suspect, realized via Airride air suspension, but rather with H&R coilovers. But not only the Golf was lowered, also its accessories on the roof. The Thule roof rack, including the large cargo box, has been modified so that there is only a few millimeters of space between the box and the roof. In terms of performance, the GTI has been immersed in significantly more life. Although we don't know how much power arrives at the wheels in the end, the United Motorsports chip tuning, the Forge Motorsports intercooler and also the centrally placed stainless steel sports exhaust system with downpipe from AWE Tuning, in combination with safety, ensure well over 300 PS. And of course the interior of the GTI has also been lovingly and extensively modified.

refined to the last detail

Among other things, there would be a specially made 4-point roll cage, Status Racing Carbon ICON GTX bucket seats with chic dark red leather and gray Alcantara or an exclusive Renown USA sports steering wheel. In the course of the renovation work inside, the entire rear seat was thrown out and thus the MK7 is only suitable for the driver and front passenger. Of course, more power would also like to be brought to a standstill and so the RS gets an AP brake system with slotted brake discs. Visually, the vehicle looks absolutely brutal in my eyes, but not exaggerated in my opinion. If we get more information about the modifications to the GTI RS, there is of course, as always, an update for this post.
