No one has more - 801PS in the Wimmer Mercedes C63 AMGs

When you have to imagine a vehicle with over 800 hp, what do you think of? A McLaren P1, a Porsche 918, or maybe a Ferrari LaFerrari? Those were our first thoughts too! Who thinks of a C-Class? But that is exactly what the WIMMER RENNSPORTTECHNIK team managed to do. It was probably a thorn in the side of the guys that at AMG they always put so little power into the vehicles and somehow they also wanted to talk to tuners like WheelsandmoreBrabus or perform Master stand. Something like that must have gone off in the tuner's office before the C63S AMG project. 😉 Even if the modified C-Class is only slightly above the 800 PS limit (801 PS) it does, and at least we are talking about a good station wagon and not a super sports car. Visually, the eye-catching outfit shows the “true” green hell, not in the Eifel but in this C63 AMG. If you look through the numbers again, the term “sporty station wagon” is probably formulated very moderately.

Insane 801 PS and 900 Newton meters of maximum torque rage in the potent C and speak a pretty extreme language. But what has to be done to achieve almost 300PS more power? We tell you: New turbochargers, new fuel pumps, different nozzles and a modified intercooler should be there. In addition, an additional water pump and of course an in-house chip tuning software (Wimmer RS level V). Also responsible for the increase in performance and an extreme background noise is a stainless steel exhaust system with integrated valve control, which includes a Y-pipe with sports catalytic converters. You can't avoid a sports air filter either. The result can be seen and heard. So on vacation? The route is the goal… And a lot has changed visually as well. The T-model is significantly lower thanks to the KW geyser, which also ensures that the 20-inchers from BBS with 245/30 and 265/20 tires sit perfectly in the wheel arch. You should have a proud 29.500 euros, and of course a C63 AMG “s”!

The left lane of the motorway is then secured. With a top speed of 320 km / h and a power-to-weight ratio of 2,07 kg per hp (series: 3,25), there are no questions. A Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera or even a Porsche 911 GT3 RS are in a worse position and even the above-mentioned super sports cars don't just drive off and on. Of course, the chrome-green-matt foiling attached to the presentation vehicle is by no means mandatory so that a perfectly normal silver C63 AMG can also be on the road with Wimmer Power. More wolf in sheep's clothing is then hardly possible! If we get more information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
