True to the motto "Quarter mile? Everyone does!“Did the Ford tuner Wolf Racing faced a much more difficult challenge and declared war on the 3.000 meters of Papenburg. You arrived with a Ford Mustang GT that should show its teeth against 10 other tuners by means of compressor power in a super test of a specialist magazine. The criteria were the quarter mile, the 1.000, 2.000 and even a 3.000 meter discipline. The respective maximum speeds were always noted. The Mustang GT got new parts from the performance department of Ford USA from Wolf which also contain a finely adjusted V8 compressor.
The result is a whopping 590 PS and 725 Nm which ensure that after 3.000 meters a top speed of a brilliant 301,5 km / h was reached. The pony completed the quarter mile at 195,8 km / h, the 1.000 meters at 254,8 km / h and the Vmax at 2.000 meters was a strong 284,1 km / h. The whole thing was measured with the GPS-supported Vbox 3i system. The correct calibration was of course checked by TÜV Rheinland. The result is of course more than impressive and Wolf Racing has once again proven its competence in terms of performance enhancements and engine conversions. But the competition has not slept either.
Hardly slower was the comparison AC Schnitzer ACS4 Sport (296,7 km / h) or the Oettinger Golf 500R (294,1 km / h). And up? There are calibers like a 9ff 911 Turbo F91 that made it to a crazy 3.000 km / h on the last meters of the 357,7 meters. Incidentally, the GT compressor is currently the spearhead of Wolf Racing in combination with the 5,0 liter V8 engine. Those who prefer the V6 will also find it at Wolf. In the 2,3 liter EcoBoost are known up to 335 kW (455 PS) & 560 Nm feasible and a smaller power boost for the V8 to 368 kW (500 PS) & 570 Nm is also available from Wolf Racing.
